Friends will be received on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Her Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. She is also survived by her sister, Rosi (Dieter) Mann and nephew Ralf (Kerstin) Mann and family in Germany. She is survived by her two daughters: Carol (Michael) Wase of Catskill and Carla (Craig) Paton of Hurley four grandchildren: Nicole (Ryan) Magill, Marissa Wase (DJ Leslie), Brandon Paton and Karlee Wase (Jack Sullivan) five great-grandchildren Hailey, Jaxon, Imani, Liam and Kemba as well as several nephews, a niece, and cousins. Published by Oneida Daily Dispatch from Nov. Trudy was also a wonderful cook and baker and was known for her Blitz Torte and many varieties of Christmas Cookies! She was a former member of the Saugerties Senior Club #2. She was an excellent crocheter and loved to read. Published by Oneida Daily Dispatch from Dec. Trudy was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Atonement in Saugerties where she had served on the Church Council, Women’s Club, and volunteered in the church’s God Given Bread lunch program. She worked as a seamstress in the former Miranda Dress Factory when she came to this country. Born on June 30, 1936, she immigrated to the United States in 1956 and was the daughter of the late Karl Bauer and Hedwig Mittmeier Bauer. SAUGERTIES – Gertrude “Trudy” Bauser, 87, of Redwood Road passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024.
